Tris has cheated death once again, only this time she wakes to have fallen prey into the hands of the enemy. She is tested in more ways than one and is pushed to her limits. She is alone and weak except this time, her friends can't save her. The only person who can help her is herself, however, in the state she is in, escaping is nigh impossible. Meanwhile, Tris' friends are feeling lonely as ever. Uriah got out of hospital and is in rehab while Christina and Tobias are lost without their closest partner.
