ONC 2024: In college, it was a case of wrong place/wrong time. Eight years later, they have a second chance. Prehistoric Safari
The genesis for this story was actually a computer program: a Dorling Kindersley product called "3D Dinosaur Hunter". Disc two allows you to wander around six 3D environments, interacting with dinosaurs. Once, I took several pictures in each of the six sections -- I can't remember if it was with the standard print screen option or if the program has a built-in snapshot feature. And at first, that's all it was: just an album of pictures from the program. Then I hit on the idea to write a story around those pictures. And that's how this story developed: every event was just written to try and justify one of the pictures. Naturally, I inserted the relevant pictures into the document at the proper places, and I've decided to do the same thing here. The story is about a photographer sent back to dinosaur times in order to test a newly invented time machine. I first wrote it in 2005, and there's only so much I could edit in the intervening years due to the limits set by the source program. For example, the program was made before it was concluded that raptors had feathers, so unfortunately the outdated image is still present here. Also, the program erroneously has Brachiosaurus rear up on its hind legs to reach higher branches; in real life, it was too front-heavy to do that. You don't travel much, but when you're a kid that's traveling over to their Aunt's house temporarily because of your traveling parents, you meet a few of unusual friends along the way, and get into a bit of shenanigans of your own too with some kid in a red cap. You bond and be cool friends, and sure some things are odd, but nothing can possibly go wrong! Could things get any better? A sequel of sorts to 'Rosario Vampire: Jurassic Park'. In link with 'Braedey Martin: Robots and a Vampire'. Please tell me what you think, and I'll soon get back to the original. Braedey Martin, master of the Transformatrix, a powerful ancient device from the Thirteen Primes of Cybertron, along with his friends of Youkai Academy, are requested by a Mr. John A. Hammond, to go forth and document a second island of dinosaurs, where there's no fences, no boundaries, and no constraining technology, and to make sure the creatures are alive and well. However, things go bad, as a group of hunters and workers of InGen come along to hunt the animals and take them back to the mainland. Braedey and his crew must stop the hunters from making a mistake that could kill and endanger human lives in the process, while also trying to stay alive on the island. A/N: the main characters and the location belong to 'Rosario + Vampire', along with Universal Studios. Only I own my OC character, the Transformatrix, but all forms belong to their respected owners. Other OC characters belong to some of my followers. This story takes place during the 'Braedey Martin: Robots and A Vampire' story, about the time after the chapter 'Braedey VS Braedey: Copycat Mayhem'.Concluída
