#1 in Golden Gate Bridge When I was seven, I learned the hard way that life was never what you expected. By the time I was fourteen I started having dreams and expectations and asked myself 'what if it got better?'. But when I was seventeen I realized it would never get better, not with the same annoying people and the same life, over and over again. Maybe this was the reason why I was standing on top of this bridge, ready to fall, swinging my arms up in the air as if they were wings. As if I was an angel ready to fall and fly away. Maybe those were all the thoughts that ran through my mind. Or maybe they weren't. And here it was... I was closing my eyes and swinging a little in the hope that i'd fall soon. Painless, emotionless, just like flying. Wait... what's that? It's in my back... Is that a fist? That was the last thought that ran through my mind before I was pulled backwards to the safe side, to life. ~ 28 year-old Nolan Fisher has never been one to enjoy life particularly, so when the last chance he had given life gets lost, he climbs on top of the Golden Gate Bridge, ready to jump, when suddenly, a fist grabs onto his shirt and brings him back to the safe side of the bridge.
