Faced with a depressed mother, college applications, taking care of her younger brother, and living in a car, Dominique has to grow up quicker than the rest of her peers and become the responsible person her family needs. She wants to change her circumstances to live a better life. To do this, she came up with the idea to steal a dog from a rich neighborhood and wait for them to put out missing posters with a reward. Little does she know, she just created a bigger problem that she might not be able to fix. Is Dominique living in a fantasy where she thinks this will solve all of her problems? Or did she just become rich beyond her wildest dreams?
