Broken racket strings can't be mended, only replaced. But a body is nothing like that. You can't replace your body when it's broken. You can only hope it will heal and there are no shortcuts if you're impatient about it.
What happens to a person when their body is broken to the point where there is no certainty for the future? All that you worked for is gone in a flash. The aftermath is something not one would like to face.
Ryumi Echizen is faced with exactly this problem. Will she let this beat her down, learn to cope, or will she somehow rise to be better than before?
Whatever the case; she can't do it alone. Luckily she doesn't have to.

I took a couple liberties with events and the Timeline, but overall, I stayed fairly close to the original game's story. This is a passion project that sprung to mind while driving, and now I'm hyperfixated... Welp, time to churn out a book. ENJOY READING IT!!
