If an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind, does a life for a life make the whole world dead?

Enter a small chain of islands located in the Caribbean in the not-so-far future that is controlled by a corrupt government: where the rich live extravagantly and the poor can barely afford to feed themselves as the powerful force heading the archipelago drives them to work like animals. Where only the strong dare to rise up and challenge the president and his system.

But a spark is catching. The fire is spreading. Rebellion could very well become a possibility. People are angry and fed up with the government. Change is coming, and no one can hide from it; not even the most powerful person on the islands, President Kale Ross himself. And the rebels-or 'pirates'- are about to make him pay for what he's done.

An oppressed population, a group of ragtag pirates, and a hell of a lot to plunder. Welcome...to Cyberlink Cove.

*Note: Plot is based off an RP my friend made on a game, though the storyline is original. Comments/Votes are greatly appreciated!*

Saving Alyssa de AnikaQ
12 partes Concluida
No one sees her. No one knows her. Alyssa Williams is the girl who fades into the background, the one who slips through the hallways unnoticed. She wears her black hoodie like a shield, her face hidden in the shadows, always on the edge of the crowd. She doesn't want to be seen. She doesn't want to be known. Because if anyone were to truly look, they'd see the fear in her eyes, the bruises that don't heal, and the story she's terrified of telling. Her life is a quiet war she fights every day-against her father's fists, against the memories that threaten to consume her, and against the world that's turned its back on her. She's learned to survive in the silence, to hide from the chaos that swirls around her. But when she decides she's had enough, and tries to run away from the nightmare that is her home, she finds herself crashing headfirst into something-or rather, someone-who might be even more dangerous than what she's running from. Dylan Scott. The bad boy. The bully. The one everyone stays away from. His presence is a storm, and his reputation is as dark as the night. He has a group of friends who don't question his actions, a life filled with secrets, and a world where no one dares to get too close. Everyone warns Alyssa about him, but she's already seen the worst the world has to offer. So when their paths collide, she's not sure what to expect. Will Dylan help her escape the hellhole she calls home-or will he drag her back into it? The truth is, Dylan Scott is hiding as much as Alyssa. He's trapped in his own battle, with his own demons, and just like her, he's been running from something for far too long. But when his and Alyssa's lives intersect, everything begins to unravel. The walls they've built around themselves begin to crack, and neither of them can ignore the pull between them. The question is: will they be able to save each other, or will they destroy each other in the process?

Book Three: Ryan Tedder is the face of the newly-formed rebellion, but he thinks he's only half the man for the job. Although he holds a deep rage for President Carter, he doesn't think he's fit to lead the one rebellion that will last. Yet his anger is justified - not only does this dictatorship hold a terrifying reign over the nation, but it's filled to the brim with lies. For instance, there is no war between the United Kingdom and the United States. All the horrors the U.S. had unleashed were not because of a war, but merely gain for a power-hungry tyrant. Yet with the help of a group of trained and combat-ready rebels called "The Green," led by tough and tactical genius Daryl Conley, Ryan holds hope that he will, at last, be able to live his life free again. With Daryl and his group's help, Ryan, his bandmates, and others close to him must find ways to bring the government down, all while they're labeled public enemies and fugitives. On top of being committed for treason, Ryan must continue to find a way to save Ramona from the waves of her returned depression before they finally drown her. There's no doubt he's got a lot on his plate, but he may be the only one who can lead the nation back to independence - and being only half a man isn't going to cut it. © 2017 by Verona Rohellec.
