When TW's mentor and friend gets kidnapped in the night by a strange group of thugs, she is forced to work with some strange cards. An experiment gone wrong and the young niece join her on a quest to find him. No matter the parrel that lies ahead.

This is the first chapter in a story several years in the making. I am struggling to introduce the world to my beloved characters and need feedback desperately.  Suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you for the read!
