Grace Knowleman is a young struggling author who's stuck in a dead-end-job with her ambitious dreams of becoming an author seeming miles from reach. But when a prestigious publisher by the name of Mr. Mccoy runs into her at her work, she'd shocked to find out that he's heard of her and would like to talk about publishing her. For once, it seems that suddenly Grace's life is going in the right direction - that is until Karen, her friend from high school and former major crush waltzed back into her life. Suddenly it seems she's thrust right back into chaos as she tries to regain the friendship she'd once had and ignore still-lingering feelings, all the while being plagued by new familial and social issues. Grace's doubts multiply as things become more complicated and confusing and to top it all off she's got some major writer's block? Just great.
