Princess-general Kahlahari of Mirkwood had always had a knack for getting herself into all sorts trouble. Her father, sadly a rather short tempered Elf, has had enough of it and banished her from his kingdom.
Kahlahari spends the next two decades hunting in Bree, where she meets Gandalf. He recruits her to be his apprentice, but that doesn't work out either. After fifty years and a fancy (since revoked) title, she finds herself back in Bree, under a new name and a human disguise. She meets Gandalf yet again, who tells her of an all too familiar Dwarven kingdom in need of reclaiming.
Kahlahari soon finds herself amongst thirteen Dwarves, a Hobbit and a Wizard and sets out on a journey that would forever change her life.

"So you've fallen in love with a dwarf?" "What?! No!" When Gandalf came to Mirkwood with a quest of reclaiming Erebor, Alithia Thranduillell couldn't resist the thrill of an adventure. Without a word to anyone, not even her overprotective father, she ran away from home to join the Company of Thorin Oakenshield. After all, it was only to help them reclaim Erebor. Little did she know, a certain blond haired dwarf would come into her life and change it. Being the next in line for the throne after his uncle, Fili had a duty. He had to fight by his uncle's side to reclaim Erebor, their home. That was it. The last thing he expected from joining the quest was meeting an elf maiden and falling for her more and more with each passing day. But there was one problem: Thorin hated elves. I do not own The Hobbit or LOTR. The Hobbit is what I based this story off of. A Thorin Oakenshield x OC you might really enjoy like I do, and I wrote the story! I decided this description needed a rewrite: Fiery, stubborn, prideful, daring. I am all of those names, always have been. I never back down from a challenge, never turn away from my choice. I am determined to find my home. And, one day, I know I will. I just never thought a handsome, stubborn, irritating, stoic, and annoying dwarf king would step in my way and tip me off that path I was determined to stay on.
