Everyone loves John Laurens, they love what they see. They love the freckles and the silky curls. They love the eyes and the lips. They love the subtle curves and the eyelashes. They love the Omega.

But when they have the guts to get a closer look they don't like what they see. They see the aggressiveness and the lack of smiles. They dry answers and how when you're standing in front of him he puffs his chest out and doesn't look down. They see a borderline murderous glare, and they don't like that. They definitely hate the punches, they don't like John Laurens.

John Laurens wish he could say that he loved Peggy. After all, they have been a pair since high school. Although he couldn't deny that he cared for the Schuyler sister, in his third year of college, a new potential number jumps into the equation, leaving a helpless John Laurens confused and breathless. ~ Alternating POVs between Alexander and John. Alex only speaks through his journal entries, and John's POV is entirely narrative. ~ REGULAR UPDATES!!!

Alexander knows he loves Laurens. He also knows that he is straight and only has a platonic relationship with Laurens. He does not think about the taste of Laurens' lips, the soft curls of his hair framing his honey-drop freckles, the curve and snap of the muscles under his skin, or the region under his breeches he wouldn't dare say even under the cover of his thoughts. He loves John Laurens, but not like that, ya know? I mean, come on, there's no way he's gay in a time where that could get you killed, where he's a public political figure, where he's a proud American soldier, where he could die any second (thanks to the time period and his mouth), or where he's married to Elizabeth Schuyler. So, shut up, okay. It's not gonna happen. Ever. In conclusion, go to hell. . . . Follows the musical like a timeline. Basically, how I imagine Lams would have been able to occur during the OG time period.
