Learning to love

Jay had what most would call a perfect life, her basketball career was looking up, her and Justin were climbing to the top of the basketball ladder of success when her whole world came crashing down. Justin moved to LA and never called.... Soon after Jay was involved in a deadly car crash, that ended in the death of her father. After being sent to live with her abusive mother Jay took a turn for the worse. She droped out of basketball, never returned Anyone's calls, started to fail. But when everyone gave up on her saying she was a loss cause the track coach finds her running on the track. He promises her good grades and a pass in gym for basketball as long as she'll run for him. Jay finds herself making nationals and going to StratFord islands for the summer to run. During the plane ride over she runs into an old friend. Who's desperate to find the old Jay again, the one he fell in love with. But will Jay be able to learn to love or will her past haunt her forever? Will she open her heart? Or is her guard up forever?
