De família tradicional e de classe media alta, MaHe como é chamada pelos amigos foi criada dentro de ideologias antiquadas e preconceituosas, mas sempre foi considerada a "ovelha negra" por ter um pensamento diferente.
Enquanto MaHE espera sua melhor amiga para fazer um trabalho ele conhece uma garota de programa que lhe dá uma outra visão sobre alguns conceitos e "tabus" da sociedade, fazendo com que a ela repense suas ideias e opiniões sobre uma série de assuntos.
A partir desse encontro todos os dias MaHe sai a procura de histórias de mulheres que possam quebrar os paradigmas e preconceitos da sociedade com o gênero, para discutir no seu TCC.
Ao longo dessa jornada, Maria Helena passa a conhecer as mais diferentes histórias e visões de vida possíveis, além de fazer grandes amigas e aprender a importância da empatia e da sororidade.

So... My life was pretty normal until... 1) My mother died. 2) My dad killed her. 3) And...I lodged a case on him as he killed her. Yeah, I know. My life is pure shitty. Anyways... And then some weird monster decides to attack our school and Naya goes Egyptian sky goddess. (nuts) Hehe. Soon we find out that she is a 'that "m" word'. She tells us that we are magicians too! And then (*dramatic drum roll*).....The......quest begins. There is a home land of magicians. M-O-N-A-S-T-A-S-I-A It's a whole new planet between Earth and Mars. The planet was destroyed ages ago by a group of people which we have to bring back in 5 days, else it's pieces will crash on Earth and destroy the humanity completely. And the weirdness doesn't end here. We have to defeat a 'Dark Lord' too. He was a maniacal god who became a magician with the help of another magician. We have to kill him because if we don't then, he would kill us, which doesn't sound nice (and is a bit confusing) (*wink*). *** This is the first book of Monastasia series.
