I started this story back in 2012, and it is now 2018. I know, I know, it's been forever, six years can go by fast. Anyways, a fan of Aerosmith contacted me on Instagram, and she told me that she loved my story, (Sweet Emotion). Honestly, I had forgotten all about it. So I searched it up, read some of it, and I became very disappointed with myself. There are so many errors, very little detail, and it was just very cringy. So, I am going to attempt to re-write each chapter whenever I get the chance. So, enjoy?

People always asked me how I ended up here. And sometimes I ask myself that same question. Spin-off to "Big Yellow Door" but could be read as a standalone. ♡♡♡♡ I was labelled as the girl who got fame as heritage or the one who couldn't stand up to the reputation her parents held. They say I'm a shame to my infamous parent's legacy. Arrogant, rude, slut, druggy and whatnot. People called me whatever they wished for. I believed I possessed talent but they pulled me down. Everything I had got shaded with innumerable comparisons with my father's success. I got my looks from my mother but I was told that I'm nowhere near her. She was pure and I am immoral. He was people's man and I'm an arrogant bitch. The only daughter of the Rockstar, the nation loved and the writer people adored. The only mistake I made was to love music with everything within me, only if I knew how to handle the negativity that came along with it. I saw success but more than that I felt pain. People called me toxic, they said I lacked many things, they called me a product of nepotism but only if they were able to see beyond that, only if they were able to see what that music meant to me. I can't go back as I have come so far now. So the only thing I can do is to give them time to accept me and hope that one day I can complete my dreams and in the process maybe if possible make the two people I love the most feel proud of me.Complete

However, her nick name (Poison Ivy) and her looks are based off of the female lead guitarist of The Cramps. I am not basing Ivy Ashford off of the real Poison Ivys life or personality. I just think she is beautiful and her name is really cool so I am using her as inspiration. I respect her and her life as well. The title of this story, Hot Wire My Heart, is the title of one of my favorite songs off the Sonic Youth album "Sister". I would recommend this album to anyone who enjoys alternative rock.
