When Samuel Ètreinte moves in with his uncle Jason, he thinks that a new school is the hardest endeavor he will face. When he befriends Blake Lupo and Grace Dots, the latter immediately informs Sam about the lore of the town. Monster lore that is. Skeptical at Grace's conviction at first, Sam plays along. However upon learning secrets of his uncle and Blake, Sam isn't so skeptical anymore.

Loup seems to know more about the Guardians then anyone; he might even know Julia's family more than anyone; back when they were called Mubarak family.
