"i'm guessing you're not the welcoming committee." she assumed.
"how'd you know?"
"welcoming committees don't usually talk about 'the new girl' behind her back with their friends then come and talk to her while their friends still stare and her like she's some sort of ancient species." she sassed and got on her bike.
"well maybe we could all be friends."
"ha. fat chance." she raised her helmet in her hands.
"well... what about him?"
she followed my hand to where i was pointing and smiled. she then looked back to me with a slight smirk, i'm sure it was out of curtesy.
"if they don't have the guts to come talk to me, they don't have the guts to know about me." she then put on her helmet and started the bike.
"so does that mean we're friends?!"
"it's a start. see you later."
