Given the chance to correct their Scrooge like behaviors, they must accept the guidance of a keeper. # I will stop publishing my story on wattpad because I'm worried about plagiarism. The world has been destroyed. All that remains is the Ark, and inside it, humans are oppressed by the Eldritch. On the outside, only death awaits thanks to heat so scorching it burns you alive, and cold so chilling, it freezes your retinas in under half a minute. Erin Watts is a 15-year-old human living in the slums of Designated Area No.6. He attends the prestigious Arlington School of Servitude and wants nothing more than having a bright future. Unfortunately, things aren't going his way as of late. His mother, a syred human, is sick and about to die. When she bites the dust, her protection from being syred to an Eldritch master will die with her, leaving Erin unprotected. His school is also starting to suspect he might not come from a wealthy background. And, to top it all off, his Eldritch neighbor wants to rape him and torture him to death. Could it get any worse for him? What can Erin do? How far will he go before he breaks down? Can he beat the system? Find out in this story about oppression, desperation, violence, and a pair of crazy girls. As the narrator, I'm tempted to simply write "Middle Finger" because that is essentially what you'll feel like I'm giving you in telling this story. However, for the sake of not being a complete dick, I'll write a little more than just a description of a disrespectful gesture. This story can aptly be described as crude and deranged. As you may have surmised, a crazy person will be telling this story, and the characters involved are indeed also all crazy in their own special ways. So, given this exercise in mental illness, the topics touched on (in no particular order) in this tale are destruction, death, superpowered wackos, torture, pain, loneliness, chaos, the will to survive, never giving up, giving up and not giving a shit, the desire to protect, failing to protect and causing more trouble than was already present, disappointing and/or abusive parental figures, bullies, unjust punishments, just punishments, racism, violent and usually superpowered fights, sci-fi gadgets, bitterness, sarcasm, twisted and demented comedy, control or lack thereof, weird and awkward high school drama, lies and brainwashing, alien aggression, moral ambiguity, unhinged villains, fantastical weapons, a piece of shit main character, conditional friendship, a fuck load of musical references, anger, fear, depression, extra-dimensional creatures, godly powers, various esoteric connections, pop culture references, and of course, in general, superpowers.Complete

Two broken souls in the midst of a crazy world. Two souls running away from their past. There was no light at the end of the tunnel. The tunnel was cracking, slowly closing in. When these two connect, as if they were set on the same path, light creeps in through the cracks, and for or a moment, the tunnel seems to have a way out, but what if it collapses before they make it? - "You saved my life." The words come out as a whisper, I've been dying to say that. I thank god every day that he came into my life when he did. "Fuck Vivian, you don't know how much I needed you." I tear up just a little as he speaks, I don't know the last time I cried happy tears. I bring my hands up to cup his cheeks, resting my forehead against his. "No matter how much I push, I don't mean it. Please don't give up on me." My words seem to relieve him in some way as I feel his shoulders relax. "Even when I'm gone, I'll be by your side, forever." What happens after the Snow Queen is defeated? OR You ever see those cheesy TV shows where someone manages to screw up the simplest task so extraordinarily that part of you laughs and the other part cringes? Where the young comedic relief is trying to make a bowl of cereal but everything spills onto the kitchen table, for instance. Or that bit in the first episode of Brooklyn 99 where Boyle drops his muffin on the floor and simultaneously steps on it and hits his head on the counter whilst trying to pick it up. Got that image in your brain? Yeah, that's pretty much what's happening here. (Except none of this is funny and Andy Samberg isn't anywhere nearby to save me and I really, really want to go home right about now.)

CRINGE WARNING! First book I ever wrote on here!! -- "Sometimes the person who you are willing to take a bullet for is the person behind the gun." I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. Sometimes you don't need to be the smartest, or the fastest, but you do need to be wisest. They say the blood runs deeper than water, and I believe it, because even though the people that we love can turn on us and begin to hate us, they are only human, meaning that soon they will begin to see how short life really is and how it is not to be wasted. People who seem perfect and they look like they have no floors'; they are the people who are suffering, like I was. But I found my savior in the most uncommon place. He was able to look through my mask, he saw the cracks, and tried to fix the broken girl that hid away deep inside the girl who only wanted to be seen as 'fine'. I slowly began to find comfort and safety in him, and I did the same to him. We were two broken people becoming whole. Someone once said when you pass, if you can count your true friends on one hand you are beyond lucky, and I even though I did not like the person that lay before me, I know that he once had true friends, including me. I'm a 17 year old girl who has suffered more than any other, beginning to believe that 'Hope' was just another word the people throw around. Until I fell in love with a badboy.
