His main task is to figure out what's been going on while he's been gone for the long millennium with the Help of Ito,Lorena,Issei and Rias and the others they will help Shogun regain some of his memories of the past even though he remembers mostly who he is. He just needs to find that purpose on why he's living and why he keeps on fighting.
