[Rated #8 in Broken-heart]

Tired of the same old unrealistic romance novels? Pretty girl meets handsome hunk - he breaks her heart- she finds true love in the end. Looking for a little realism? Meet Olivia Woods and Julian Baker. They're regular high schoolers, just like us, only their story is anything but ordinary.

-------

I stare down at her for a while, looking at our awkward position. My laugh subsides and now there was silence in the air.

I lie over her as the rain hits my back and shelters her from any of it.

"Well look who's fallen for me now?" I smirk, mentally high fiving myself.

She looks at me with serious eyes before letting out a small laugh. It was soft and something I didn't mind hearing more often.

Maybe it was the other way around.

Maybe I've fallen for her instead.

-------

What happens when these two opposites meet one afternoon on the same basketball court? What happens if an innocent question turns into a complicated plan for the oh so famous jock? And what happens if one kiss changes everything Olivia's ever worked for?

Nathan Baker hates Julian Cruz. He hates his snarky attitude, he hates how overly confident he is, but most of all--he hates how good he is at football. He hates how stupid Roosevelt High school took home the championship trophy and the way the stupid rival team picked up his stupid rival, chanted his stupid name while he looked at Nathan with a stupid grin. Yep, Nathan hates him. But this year is his year. He's the captain of the Cortland Foxes football team, he's the starting quarterback, and he finally is back on good terms with his on and off girlfriend, Veronica. Senior year is the year. That is until on the first day of training the coach introduces someone who, in fact, does not need an introduction and Nathan almost explodes with anger on the spot. The feeling of hatred is very much mutual for Julian Cruz. He hates Nathan Baker with every fiber in his body. He hates his Hollywood attitude, he hates how rich he is, but greater than all--he hates how good he is at football. Sure, Julian had made the lucky catch and managed to make the final touchdown of the championship game and win, sure, he was praised as a God for the rest of that school year and got scouted by a couple college coaches. But none of that matters now that he and his Mom have gotten kicked out from their apartment and the only place they could find is too far to continue his laid-back life at Roosevelt High. It doesn't matter anymore because now he is forced to go to the one school in the world he would never have chosen if given the chance. Cortland High school, home of the foxes and his worst enemy. Well, since they're on the same team now they have to reach some sort of compromise...right? Who knows, maybe, just maybe, they'll like each other more than either of them though.

If Romeo was my man

18 parts Ongoing

Emily Greens has always admired the most popular boy in high school, Travis Black. After mustering the courage to approach him, her life takes an unexpected turn. Sneak ♡♥︎ Peak ~~~~~~~ "So... what's up?" he asks, leaning casually against the wall, like this is just another Friday. My heart hammers in my chest. I take a deep breath. "I, um, I just wanted to tell you... I like you. A lot. And I'd really like to get to know you, you know, if you're okay with that." The words come out so fast I barely understand them myself. There's a moment of silence before he chuckles softly. "What's your name again?" "Emily," I squeak. "My name's Emily." "Well, Emily, I don't like you. But hey, you're cute, so there's that." He grins. "Oh, and thanks for watching the match." And just like that, he walks away, leaving me standing there with my heart shattered into a million pieces. The only upside? Tomorrow is Saturday, and I'm officially dead. NOTE !: This story includes themes of bullying, strong language, and violence. Please be aware that all events depicted are fictional.
