Adrexa Murphy is a complex, masked girl. With her haunting past burned in her memory, she can never sway the feeling of true solace and loneliness gained from it. Trust issues, self-doubt, coverups, and more. Most traits hidden in every teenager's life, but overwhelmingly awake under the surface. Adrexa is exceptionally good at hiding them, but luckily she has very loving and true best friends to support her through it. Keeping her sane when she's almost seamless they give her a few threads to pull onto. Slowly she becomes better and more accepting of change. The experience as an upperclassman in high school was not expected to be apart of that, well, outside of the obnoxious teens, and college applications. She soon finds it's anything but.

Coming across a huge bump in the road, it ends up shaking her world, making it exceptionally hard not to spiral downwards. One of her best friends starts to act strangely after a very unforgettable and strange incident. He starts to test and toy with Adrexa without her even knowing it. While he, himself, doesn't know he's falling deeper and harder than he ever could for her after their many dumb decisions.

Did they make the right decision? Maybe friends are supposed to stay friends. Maybe they're just going through phases, as people say. Will they accept it? Maybe they'll deeply change each other. Or maybe they won't be able to handle the forces of nature. And maybe it'll just stay a maybe, or maybe they were never a maybe in the first place. We all have a story for when we find the one. We all have a person who captured our hearts and changed our minds about the inevitable falling of love. This is their story.
