Nocturnal Animals

Her body was on the ground covered in blood. I felt my heart sink, my bones were shaking, I could barely breath.
'Breath Ray' Fleur whispered. My vision became blurry. I couldn't see beyond her body. She was everything I had. I picked her up and laid her on my chest. She was still breathing, I could feel her chest slowly rising. Everything that still tied me to this world has been taken from again. Ones more, my world has been turned upside down. Just like mom, she walked in to save me and I didn't protect her. I let her die. I didn't do enough to keep her save. To keep her here with me.

"Fleur! why!... Save her! I'm begging you!" Her body was so light, her skin felt cold, she was paled. Her eyes were open, but she was lost in them.
