When you kill yourself before you enter the hunger games, there are consequences. That's what district twelve learned the hard way. When the 74th hunger games came around, the consequences were obvious; there were to be three tributes that year to make up for the deceased female the year before. When Gale was reaped third, it's clear it will be a game to remember. If one makes it out alive, who's it going to be? This is the new Hunger games. Disclaimer:  I do not own Suzanne Collins' Hunger Games trilogy, or any of the characters, but simply wrote a fanfiction about it. Thank you for reading!

Since the games began 74 Years ago y/n's family has suffered because of it. The Ryder family was a family of tributes. On the year a female from the Ryder family would turn 18 they would get reaped. The Ryder family wasn't just good for the games. Just when you would think their legacy was over there was always another baby girl destined to die. This was the case for y/n Abernathy. I don't own any of the characters that appear in the hunger games novels I only own y/n Abernathy. The character arcs are different than the ones in the hunger games books so events will happen differently than they do in the books. They rebelled. The Hunger Games returns. Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark lost their lives but their kids lived. Willow Mellark has a daughter, Primrose Mellark. Prim is chosen for the 135th Annual Hunger Games, and made the twelve districts plus District 13 and the Capitol citizens to rebel again to stop the Games again but they lost. Primrose died ending the Mellarks. The thirteen districts plus the Capitol, newly named District 14, which is the mutt industry district now, have to face the consequences. The thirteen districts have to provide, every year, a young man and a young woman, between the age of 11-19 to fight in the Games. District 14 has to care and tend to the tributes before the Games.
