"If we only die once, I want to die with you.
If we only live once, I want to live with you."
Some people find it hard to believe that Thissaly Grace was looking for love. She seemed like the type of girl that only cared about her future goals, which did not include a man. They were right, but half of her heart yearned for a man’s love. As a senior in high school, Thissaly knew that she could not be distracted by a man. Her future came first before everything else. That did not stop her from wanting love, though.
“Selfish. You are so selfish!” Her last boyfriend had told her as she slammed the door in his face. When it came to her studies, Thissaly did not care if she was selfish. It was her future, how could she not be selfish? How could she not want the best for herself? If he did not want her to succeed, then she had no place for him in her life. Thissaly laughed at the memory of his face when she had told him that she would rather study than have sex with him. She had a major exam the next morning and she wanted to make sure she was ready. He could not see how she could brush him off to study, so she showed him the door. Thissaly was reminded again and again that men only wanted one thing and they didn’t give two shits about what happened the next day. She was disappointed over and over, but she still didn’t let up hope. There had to be someone out there that had the same mindset as herself.
Who knew that person would be a wrestler?
Certainly not Thissaly Grace.
Being a manager for her high school’s wrestling team was Thissaly’s only time to have fun. The wrestlers were her brothers, the other managers her sisters, and the coaches her fathers. They were her family, her only family. However, it could all change just by a small lie.
Well maybe not that small…
Ok it is a very huge lie! But who cares?
Oh yeah.
Everyone!
