I had a smile on my face as I entered my home room, and everyone was sitting engrossed in their own hives and circles to notice anything else. Talking about their summer vacation and what not. I sighed as I took a seat at the far back of the class. I packed my hair which I had let down into a ponytail and got out my dark wine glasses which I keep in my bag. I didn't really need them but it was all part of my disguise.
I plugged in my earphones and listened to Bruno Mars' song when a boy and girl of around the same age entered the class, the boy was huge and buff while the girl was petite and pretty, you didn't need anyone to tell you they were twins. Now everyone in class was staring at them as they took their seats on the desks to my left. I ignored their eyes that had darted to me, I didn't want to compromise my disguise.
I felt a tap on my shoulder, that had never happened before.
"Mayday, Mayday, abort mission, abort mission" the little pilot I always imagine was riding me yelled.
I turned and met silvery grey eyes and pale skin with freckles and dark silvery hair.
"Hey, I'm Scarlet... But my friends call me, Scar... This is my brother Stratton" she said.
I gave a polite nod and smile and turned away thinking she'd understand and stop talking to me before anyone else notices. She was new, so she would obviously draw a lot of eyes, we never get new folks around this parts, so that alone would intrigue everyone.

Prologue I used to have a nightmare when I was younger. It was always the same order and the same impact. It started with the warmth of sand consuming my feet. I looked up to see a warzone. There were flashes of fire, water, and lightning. It was like a war of the gods. Suddenly I felt the heat on my back. I turned to see neon red and yellow flames consume me. I ran to hide in the bushes that were next to me, feeling out of breath I tried to calm myself down. Strands of dark red hair covered my face. I proceeded to swipe my hair and look at my surroundings. I heard sobbing coming from near me. I trudged through the bushes and toward the sobbing when I got to under a willow tree. "Hey, are you okay?" I asked. I saw a girl with long dark red hair being the cause of the sobbing. She had a huge gash on her forehead with blood trailing down her face. She also had burns on her arms and shirt. The boy was in much worse condition. He was covered in burns, she was covering his face with only his hair showing. They both had the same colored hair. Suddenly my necklace started to glow with an amber color. The girl in front of me had a similar amber glow. Two amber crowns sat on top of the pillow. One female and one male crown sat on top of the pillow. Once I walked closer the glow came back. Once I grabbed the tiara everything became white. I was once again in another room, I attempted to move but I mysteriously couldn't. A neon purple bolt of lightning hit my chest. We both locked eyes with each other. Was that me? Before I could find out, the ground started to be drained into a whole. I was sucked into the drain and everything soon became black and I was free-falling. My back soon hit the ground of the room. I rose to look at the surroundings of the new room I was in. I fell to my knees from the pain. Then a person walked forward and grabbed my face.Complete

I grunted slightly and swiftly grabbed my glasses, pushing my homework off of my chest and shoving my legs into a pair of skinny jeans. I grabbed my shirt and pulled it on, making sure the sleeves covered my hands so I'd have something to hold. I brushed my teeth while putting my things into my back pack and kissed my mother in a a family photo before darting out the front door, and spitting both my toothbrush and the left over bubbles in my mouth onto the grass, I'd have to pick it up later. I ran out to the mail box and waved good by to my horse Smokey's small grave stone, reaching the bus just in time. My day went by as usual. I barely got through most of my classes staying dead silent through out. People would try to interact with me but all I could do was grunt at them. If only I could actually say "Speech Impediment" maybe they would stop talking about me. Some how the usual group of jerks found out I was gay and told everyone. This life sucks. I got into fifth period and Mr. Schmidt looked at me. I froze, Oh hell no. I started to shake as he told me to read. I know he had a speech impediment too, but it was embarrassing to turn down such a request. "Read the next two pages" such an easy sounding task is it not?..... He stepped to me and I froze. Did I mention that my language arts teach was the most beautiful man on earth and his pink collard shirt was clingy?! I guess not.
