During the games played against Lincoln Central and Pittsburgh Hills is when the real rivalry is revealed. Both teams come out for blood, determined to walk off the field victorious. Bench clearing brawls break out in nearly every game, fans are removed from the stands due to fighting, car windows are smashed and tired are slashed.
Needless to say, there are no boundaries when it comes to the lacrosse rivalry. Sometimes the game comes down not to which team has more skill, but to which team will go the farthest to win.
This year's state championship game will be no different, and this year, a line will be crossed that turns a not-so-friendly rivalry into a full out war.

//I would like to personally apologize for this book. I wrote it when I was 13 and knew nothing about anything. I find it quite tasteless and awful, but a lot of people love it and have told me it helped them through rougher days, so I can't bring myself to delete it.

*book two of the Counting On Hockey series. Read Just Another Goal prior to this book* Meredith and Cole are going into their Senior year of high school. They are inseparable together. Now both playing hockey, and being together for now more than a year, they thought nothing could hurt them. Meredith's Dad is Randy Adams, hockey legend from the late 90's on the Detroit Red Wings. He moves constantly for his new job, which now has nothing to do with hockey. When moving from Michigan to Maine, it was a good thing. Meredith got away from drama back home and she found her high school sweetheart, and quite possibly the love of her life. When Meredith moved to Maine, Cole found his soulmate and best friend. Meredith's fathers job is sending him to Chicago, which mean she has to move. Again. She has to leave her new life as best friends with the entire boys hockey team. But most importantly, she has to leave Cole. ********* One More Day follow Meredith's POV through her time on the first day at her new school to the next time she has a chance to see Cole again. Drama may cause some second thought on their relationship. But they love each other, so let's see how they turn out. *Each chapter name will have the number of days until Meredith and Cole can see each other again. She has exactly 93 days from her first day of school to when she gets to see Cole.* *mild sexual innuendo and content, and swearing* *Not all hockey players or their jobs in this book are real. Some NHL players might be real, but the jobs they have are made up*

"I'd much rather have my head between her legs than yours." *** SEQUEL TO CONTRONYM Life is never kind to the broken. Then again, aren't we all broken? I've faced the sexists, the egotistics, the rapists, the catalysts; everyone is an asshole in their own right. Sadly, I'm maxing out on how much more hardship I can take. Griffin Riley used to be my enemy and the cause of my many headaches but now he seems to be my pain medication that takes the aches away. But nothing good can last forever. Maybe we'll be the exception. A girl can hope. But between the stress, high stakes, jealousy, fights, trials, the media, school, life changing scares, and most importantly; Lacrosse, our relationship will be put through the ringer. I just hope we aren't smushed to death.
