Breaking follows the life of a young teenager by the name of Leo Young. If losing his mother at a small age wasn't enough, his father has put it on himself to avenge his wife by mentally, emotionally, and physically destroying his son.
For many years now, Leo has come to accept this as his fate, a constant cycle of pain and torture. That is when Leo, upon going to a new school to realize his father's dream of becoming the musical star his mother once was, meets a group of five boys.
