I've gone through nothing but hell these last four years. Being treated like an outsider because Brayden, the school's most popular boy... He chose me! I couldn't believe it! But I played it off like I didnt feel the same for four years. He liked me from middle school to sophomore year. By the time I sent him the letter I was always too scared to send, he had a girlfriend nobody knew about and... As you probably guessed... He didn't want me anymore.

I'm not your typical 16 year old girl. I'm a quiet, homely and keep to myself kind of person. Until I met him. And this is when my life took a change.

Kate and her mom were having a beautiful time. They had the best time of their lives, until just like that. Their house was full of flames and everyone got out but not all of them: Her mom. Her dad left them when she was two. She cried for nearly two days straight. Talked to no one, on her own, no mom. She's now a foster taken into a new home. Back to school. New life. ~~~~~~~~ Carter is a spoiled jerk, too arrogant. He's the most popular boy at West High. He has dated almost every girl in the school but once Kate is living with him under the same roof he immediately hates her. They pity each other and hate their guts, but one day Kate leaves. See what happens to her. To Carter. To everyone.

She's not had the best year, or really the easiest life. This was her last year and she wanted to spend the year being a normal high school student. She hadn't planned on falling for him, the one man who could make her already complicated life even more complicated. But sometimes complicated can be better than we think.

Kate has finally reached her senior year, the last year of high school life. She was looking forward to it because this is the year where everything will be put up as a good and last memory of high school. Until, her mother decided to go out of the city and moved her into a different school that she didn't even agreed on. Her life starts to turn into nothing but a mess. She was completely invisible on the current school that she was enrolled in. She feels as if her last year of high school life is not worth remembering. Not that she was expecting, she accidentally met the campus' playboy of their school. She doesn't want to get involved of any of him but the playboy insisted that he wants to be her friend? What will her high school life turned out to be? It all started in just one tiny accident. An accident that me and him, fell in love.

Things get complicated fast. We all take a pause for a reason. Mine was to at least try to return to the same girl that my boyfriend fell in love with back in junior/ senior tear. But that is easier said than done. What I keep failing to realise is that I have grown and I am loved even more for that. Meanwhile everyone else's drama is trying to wedge in on my own and well. They are even more complicated that me.
