It's so dark now. The feeling you get when the light in front of you fades away to nothing. When the floor underneath you crumbles to dust and doesn't just slide away. The kind of dark where you don't even see the shadows in front of you nor any silhouette. The kind where you just want to hide away from the storm. But it's brewing. Madly. And it's chasing after you. Running doesn't help but when has it ever. The thrill is long gone now along with sanity. It's getting dark now.

Regardless of size, putting your life on hold until you reach that perfect weight, does no one any good. This will be my collection of poems reflecting on societies obsession with weight and size and the effect this has on us and how we can change this. We shouldn't be allowing it to determine whether we should be happy, successful or loved. Enough is enough. Start living. You deserve it all now. I give thanks to anyone who reads this collection, it's appreciated with all my heart and if you also happen to hit the little vote button, you have my eternal gratitude ❤️.
