Monroe Lodge was adopted by the lodge family when she was 2 but as she is aware of Hiram and Hermione lodge are her true parents and veronica is her "twin" sister she had always had her doubts she has brown hair they have black her eyes are blue and her family well except daddy lodge moves to the small town of Riverdale due to daddy lodge getting arrested for fraud (i think) they were stripped of everything even the clothes off their backs. 

This story starts off the day Archie Andrews (veronicas boyfriend) points a gun in sweet peas face Monroe happens to be with Archie and gets freaked out when Archie points the gun in his face she's never seen him this way.
