Liam knows nothing about the outside world. He isn't exactly, but is sheltered within his trait as being mayor.
Overtime, Liam forgets his goal and begins to search for something that will "truly" help his hometown.
But, in the end, he realises that not every decision, is a good one.

We make choices in our life, but we must remember what lead us to those choices. We *need* to *remember* our true purpose. What do we *really* want to do in the future for our blissful life's?

I have sat often in front of the computer, and stared long at the screen without ever writing a word. The synopsis for this project has haunted me since the first person asked me "So, what is it about?", and to this day I have never been able to deliver a straight answer. This book is about a number of things, many of which do not fit evenly into a succinct description. I have tried to make them fit and have found the resulting descriptions ill-representing and dull. Thus, I have decided to go without a description. This book will fade into obscurity no matter what I put here, so I might as well write what's really important. Winter in a city is an especially punishing time. This book comes out of my late nights and early mornings riding the train, and my looking at the window and being able to make out nothing but the blur of the glass. From the outside it may look dead, but certain people know that the inner workings of a city are a true marvel to behold. In writing this, I have tried to capture that marvel and deliver it to you, the reader. This is a book about a city and the people within it. The rest is up for you to read, if you so choose. Pyre lives on whether you experience it or not. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A science-fiction novel, updated whenever there is new material to post. The last cover was AI generated, so I spent some time making a crude cover of my own. For the sake of Wattpad I have divided up the chapters into parts, so everything under "The Glow" is Chapter 1 and so on. If you have read this far into the description, I thank you; you've made it further than mostly everyone before you. I hope you stick around. ⠀⠀

Every person on earth has one thing in common with one another; wanting their lives to play out like a movie with a perfect ribbon at the end of it all. That's not how it is at all in our world. We harbor regrets, guilt, jealously, and pain in our minds with a wish to replay it. That way of thinking eats at us at night when the silence is our only friend, changing us as a person without even realizing it, but what if we could see these negative parts of ourselves. What if we could get rid of physical manifestations of our phobias, trauma, and repressed memories still affecting the mind? London, whose clumsy pride makes him a target in high school, finds himself in an ever-evolving world within the minds of unfortunate victims whose lives need saving, learning more about himself and how the world may just be able to rest when the peace and quiet are interrupted. He isn't the only one either, whether those people come to share in his vision of justice or their own sense of what is right.
