In 2066, a new generation of humans have developed strange effects, caused by radiation, passed down from the survivors of the Nuclear War.

Everything from super strength, to mind control, all ranging on a different scale of strength.

When you are but eight years old, you are  tested for abilities, and if you have any, no matter how slight, you are killed.

Arryn Douglas is one of them.

Having brief and occasional glimpses of the future puts her on the low end, yet still enough to be on the wrong side of the law. She's able to pass as normal though.

Until her best friend outs her to the cops after an incident.

On the run from everything and everyone she's ever none, alongside a bipolar Empath, a deaf audiokenetic, an awkward shapeshifter, and a confusingly interested Regular.

Rylie Garner paraded as Light Glider around his city-their own personal superhero-escaping being caught with the help of his friends while trying to find his little supernatural sister, who was taken. Wanting to be a superhero and becoming one, are two completely different things. But becoming the opposite? That's way easier. And sometimes it's not on purpose. Fate didn't want me to be a hero. I was a fairly normal girl, growing up in Central City. A city where superheroes and super villains didn't exist... until the particle accelerator exploded. Many people were turned into these metahumans, me being one of them. Likely one of the only changed nine year olds at the time. My parents were both scientists for Star Labs, being two of the many others that died in the blast. Needing to get away, I decided to move to Gotham. A good city to hide in. Maybe it wasn't the best city to move to, but, in the end, I'm glad I did. In the crazy town, I was adopted by the two craziest people there. The Deranged Duo, Harley Quinn and Joker. "Rescued by villains, who knew?" I say. "Villains rescue fellow villains," Joker says. "Sounds funny coming from you," I scoff. "Aww, is that the way you should treat your saviors?" Joker teases. "I could've taken them," I scoff. "Why did you save me?" "We watched you take out the last group of thugs," Harley says.
