Built on the Ice [LCU On the Ice Book#2] by Idktbhim
10 parts Ongoing Mature
Brynn Holloway is attending her first year at Lincoln Crest University! She's excited to live her best life, live it by her own rules, and forget about the past. That won't be pretty easy, though. Not when her older, overprotective brother, Caleb, goes to the same university she does! Brynn needs to get her mind off of life! Off of her past. She doesn't know what she wants to become in the future, and the only place she finds solace is on the ice with her friend Blair. How long will she be able to hold up the last bit of peace left in her life before her own family rips it away from her? Life becomes more difficult when her brother recruits his best friend to watch over her as well! Levi Sullivan is a Junior at Lincoln Crest University. He's excited for another year of playing hockey with his team. Hockey is his favorite thing, because it allows him to forget about everything going on with his parents-his father in particular. This was supposed to be another normal year at LCU, just like the other years. But, it's different. His best friend's sister is starting her first year at Lincoln, and he's meeting her for the first time. His best friend, Caleb, said she's 'immature' and can't take care of herself, therefore, he and Levi are going to have to watch over her. Watch over her? That's ridiculous! Who, at the age of nineteen, needs two babysitters to watch over them in University? Levi's mindset changes when he sees the beautiful 'baby' he's been given the instruction of watching over. Especially when he starts to understand why she is the way she is. But what would happen if Caleb realized that his best friend has sided with his little sister? That he has feelings for her? And what happens when another dark, lingering issue of Brynn's past makes tensions rise between the group of young adults? They will have to tear everything down, and build it back up. Brick by brick.
