I was more than the injections, the past, and a "normal boy." I was a monster and there was nothing more I wanted than to show her that I didn't have to be one. ⚠️ Trigger Warnings ⚠️ Violence / Abuse: Domestic violence / trauma, Emotional and psychological abuse. Emotional / Psychological Content: Grief and loss (characters experiencing deaths of loved ones), Trauma triggers (memories, nightmares), Intense fear, panic attacks, Guilt / self-loathing, and Death of parents / guardians. Relationship / Power Dynamics: Age gap romance, Caregiver or protector dynamics, Obsession / unrequited love, and relationship tension Other: Blood imagery and gore, Sudden sensory overload / panic Warning: Written in 2015-2016. Expect grammar mistakes, cliché plotlines, and all the classic "cringe 16-year-old writing." This story switches perspectives between main characters a lot, don't ask me why, maybe it was a trend back then. I originally wrote and published it in 2014-2015, back when I was 15-16 years old. I've recently regained access to this account and am currently fixing grammar issues, but I'm not changing the actual story itself. So... you've been warned.

The Girl In The Glade

29 parts Complete

(Y/n), that's all you remember. Your name, (Y/n). -------------------------- It was as if you never left that damp dark box, only risen to a bigger one. -------------------------- You were sent up to the Glade as the only girl, and that arouses confusion. You don't know anything, don't remember anyone, all you know is that you are trapped and terrified. As you spend more time in the Glade, a certain British blonde boy seems to catch your eye, while a boy with interesting eyebrows seems familiar. You find that your arrival, however, has started problems within the maze trials. You don't know what it is, but something about you makes you special, maybe even dangerous. You have to work with the other Gladers to get out of this death trap. But that means putting yourself and the other boys at risk. Will they follow your lead, or will some stray away? In the end, WCKD is good, right? (This is a Newt fanfic that is based primarily on the movies, though some aspects will be from the books. Some plot points however, have been twisted to fit my own story line!) This is book one of a series of three! ♥️ (maybe more if people enjoy it!) Disclaimer: I do not own the Maze Runner Franchise - all character rights and plot points (beside y/n and my own plot points) belong to James Dashner and Wes Ball
