At the heart of it all stood Taehyung, a breathtaking vision of beauty. His wings, delicate and translucent, reflected the colors of the setting sun-shades of pink, orange, and gold that seemed almost too perfect for this world.
"There's so much more out there," Taehyung murmured to himself, gazing at the horizon where the golden glow of his island met the unknown darkness of the human world.
Fairies had always been forbidden from stepping foot into the human land. Humans, with their greed and violence, were a danger to the fragile magic of their kind.
"One spell," he thought, his fingers tracing the ancient runes on the glowing scroll before him. "If I can expand our sanctuary, we won't need to fear the humans."
But magic was unpredictable, even for someone as skilled as Taehyung. The spell spiraled out of control, its light exploding in a burst of energy that engulfed him. When he opened his eyes, the golden skies of Fairy Island were gone.
