Steve Rogers había sido convertido en un humano normal cuando Iron Nail le remueve todo el suero de supersoldado del cuerpo. Envejeciendo, pasa el escudo a Sam Wilson, anteriormente Falcon, quien se convierte en el actual Capitán América. Ya es hora de regresar al Cap original con Captain America: Steve Rogers. 

Con esto en mente, el equipo de Marvel formado por Nick Spencer y por Jesus Saiz decidió traer de vuelta a las páginas a Steve Rogers. De nuevo como superhéroe. Pero esto puede traer preguntas fuertes. Una de ellas siendo qué pasará con el actual Capitán América. La otra siendo qué significa para Rogers volver a estar en misiones similares a las de sus años gloriosos.
