"Lady of Light and Lady of Sky, Goddess almighty heed my cry, To set the moon and stars alight, Lest we fall to endless night." The four Realms, and their adjacent courts, are in turmoil. The mortal world has been sent reeling after a sudden uprising of the archaic Naerans, and the Goddess Nestra has done nothing to prevent the bloodshed. For Aela, the war is just another part of the daily grind. As a poor mother who struggles to feed not only herself but her son, she prides herself on that fact that she's seen it all. However, the game totally changes when she is attacked by a night-crawler, and nearly dies. To add to the general chaos, she is saved by whom she least expected - A Naeran mage, who surprisingly has no intent to harm her. Their relationship is dangerous, and could mean the death of them both. But are they willing to risk their lives to restore the sacred peace? Of course.
