In this world everything is perfect. Everybody is happy and with their soulmate. Gerard Way is the imperfection. He has been rejected by his family when they found out he was gay, which made you a freak. Nobody has a same sex soulmate.
Frank Iero is gay and proud. His mom supports him in his decision to be out and doesn't care if he doesn't find a soulmate because she rejected her own. Frank may not be perfect, but he is happy.
One day Frank finds a small cut on his shoulder and it is that cut that will change his life.

He is smart, and caring and isn't afraid to stand up for himself, which is a strong contrast to the other caretakers and doctors at the institute. Frank's boss, Dr. Parker, assigns Frank to provide help for Gerard. They are both opposites in many ways, but will that stop Frank from gaining Gerard's trust and seeing his true self? Though, he has a bit of an edgy attitude most people learn to respect. There's more to Gerard than what the outside shows. His brother Mikey and best friend Ray know glimpses of how he really feels, and how complications from the past really fuck with his behavior. But, their differences don't keep them apart considering these strangers are forced into each other's lives when Gerard finds Frank attempting to commit suicide.
