Neon left to get away from the city lights. They revealed too much. Got too far under her skin, just like the people there. They stood on the edge of her last nerve. Travelling back to face new fears isn't the only new thing she'll have to manage when she finds that people have become MIA in her absence. Neon is sure they can't break her down anymore. Someone else, on the other hand, she wasn't expecting.
