I was tasked with a capstone project in my eighth grade history class. I asked the teacher if I could write a book instead of the given options, to which she told me yes if I used something related to the bill of rights/the amendments as part of the prompt. 47 days later, this boi was created. It's the first book I've written that was fully my own and I hope you appreciate it!!

Thanks for looking at this page, hope you give my book a go I really appreciate it! Xx My names Clara. I'm just a 15, nearly 16 year old girl from England; rainy, cold England. I'm not pretty or the perfect weight or have the nicest things, even though many people would think I did with my dad owning his own business. I've got some problems at home and my sisters pretty dependent on me, but what can I do, other than take it all in my stride? But I'm just me, with some added attitude. So why did the new hot teacher come for me? I'm Scott Myer, just out of uni and got a brand new job. Hopefully this job will keep me straight headed so I can have back the only thing I want from back home. I've started today and already I'm falling back into my old ways, hopefully teaching in the new school can keep me on track for once... So why when I see my tutor class for morning registration, do I see one girl, that I can't seem to get out of my head? And why do I keep coming for her? This is my first book so you might see a few mistakes, but I do try to go over my work as best as possible. Contains mature content, so if your under 16 I suggest u give this one a miss, unless your okay with that sort of thing. The Sign of Raphael (Rough Draft Novella)
If you read one thing from me in your whole life, please don't let it be this. This was a rough draft for a class, and my first written work of such a magnitude (other than perhaps some interactive fiction, which was better). I tried to handle it as a short story, and honestly it fails in that criteria. I've added chapters and some revisions to make it less odious. There is improvement throughout the novella, though there are also really obvious errors I haven't bothered to correct and wouldn't make nowadays. Supernatural-twinged cyberpunk action-adventure novella with a mystical-religious overtone. Dates back to February 2013. This is from a while back, and I was more into writing action than writing deeper more philosophical stuff. Not that it didn't try. Had to write it for a class, but I really did enjoy doing it at the time. Although it aimed to just be urban fantasy, the successor was set in one of my overarching settings I worked on for years. The instructor told me at the end of class that "You will make a great teacher, you give excellent feedback." Just be forewarned: this novella is a rough draft for a final draft damned by faint praise.Complete

Creator: Friend or Foe?
This story began as a NaNoWriMo 2012 work, with no planning, and even less idea of plot. I learned from that experience that I am not a 'pantser' -and spent about 20 painful months trying to turn my stream-of-consciousness 3-stories-in-one into one coherent novel, following the timeline and events in the Book of Genesis. I discovered that that is not a great way to build a plot. I ended after 5 more drafts, at about 60k words. There is another draft on my blog, slightly longer, a bit more experimental.
