Eva's mother has just gone on a vacation, or that's just what everyone else thinks. When Eva and her father find her mother's dead body, they fear something horrible killed her. In order to keep themselves safe, the father and daughter hide her body along with their secret. They move to a new city, in search of a fresh start. When Eva gets lost in the new neighbourhood, she bumps into Ash and Aric, two rivals. With the help of the two boys Eva learns that her mother was no ordinary woman, she was the Silk Bride.
