Eva's mother has just gone on a vacation, or that's just what everyone else thinks. When Eva and her father find her mother's dead body, they fear something horrible killed her. In order to keep themselves safe, the father and daughter hide her body along with their secret. They move to a new city, in search of a fresh start. When Eva gets lost in the new neighbourhood, she bumps into Ash and Aric, two rivals. With the help of the two boys Eva learns that her mother was no ordinary woman, she was the Silk Bride. And before she can drag herself out, Eva finds herself too deep into the Other World. Whilst struggling to keep up with the dangers of the Other World and unearthing her mother's many secrets, Eva finds herself stuck in a love triangle.
