"Did you think you could take Gaten? Are you courageous or stupid" he asked turning to look at me knowing I'd bite at his bait that he threw and he was right.

"I am NOT stupid. I was trying to help my friend get out of a tricky situation! Something you'd know nothing about" I barked looking right at my refection through his glasses. My insult brought nothing but a smile to his cocky, perfectly sculpted face. I would have thought he would be the slightest bit insulted but no, a smile.

Katherine Reyes is invisible to the blind eye, a faceless person in the crowd. For most of Katherines High school experience she has been a loner. Sure, he was smoking and mysterious, but she just never seen it in him. Reece found this interesting wanting to get to know this Katherine more. So, he pursued her, making it his mission to find out everything about the one girl he can't make quiver at his feet.
