Nix held the bottle in her hands stiffly, rubbing the palm of her hand over the smooth, glass surface.
"Once released, the world is your story."
The words echoed back to her like dozens of manuscripts shouting in her ear. The pulsing light from inside the vial reached towards the glass walls, now shaking from the magic urging to break it.
She reached for the cork, taking a breath,
"Anything is true if you believe in the story."
She smiled.
"But history is written by the victors."

The Contract
Something didn't feel right. I looked around my room slowly; cautiously; taking everything in and trying not to feel too nervous. Perhaps Lure was in my room right now, watching me, silently laughing to himself. I didn't doubt it. I slipped off my bed and walked around, hugging my waist, and tilted my head. I felt my rough ponytail slide against the back of my neck and over my shoulder as I moved. "Lure?" I hissed, "Lure, are you there?" I wandered around a little, for some reason feeling scared. But why? It was only Lure. He wouldn't hurt me, would he? "Okay, Lure. Quit it. I know it's you. Who else would it-" I stopped, startled, when I heard a strange sound that made me cringe. It was like fingernails being dragged across a chalkboard. I whipped around and came face-to-face with my mirror. Immediately, I saw the difference. Various scratches were displayed across the glass, forming words. It looked as if claws had written the words in the mirror. "Deepest apologies, but it was fun." She went to her room and locked herself inside the room. She slowly sat down and started crying, ''why does this always happen to me?" she said while putting her fingers in hairs. "I hate myself," she said, crying. Just then she got up and grabbed her sharp nail trimmer "I will end this" she said and almost cut off her vein, when she heard a very strange whisper. "Hey don't young Lady killing yourself is a sin" she turned and the nail trimmer fell off her hand. "Who is it?" she said but the voice did not come back, she looked inside the mirror she brought from her deceased relative. She watched her eyes, it was like her own reflection was looking at her, just than she felt her green eyes turning to electric blue, she got startled, then she turned and walked towards her bed, "It's like I am having hallucinations, can't die properly even " she said to herself and went to her bed. ****** She got up late in the morning; she didn't want to go to school. She turned to the other side of her bed. Still eyes closed she looked for a pillow but instead her hand touched something very hard, it was like a human arm, the manly odor was surrounding, first she thought she was dreaming, She hold him softly and hugged him. He was snoring faintly. She opened her eyes instantly, it was some unknown man on her bed and he was sleeping peacefully beside her, she narrowed her eyes to confirm it was indeed what she was seeing, she got up a bit while putting pressure over her arm. His light brown hair were fallen over his forehead, His broad chest was moving up and down as he breaths, when she realized that it was not dream, she got up and screamed. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh". An ordinary love story? Think again.Complete

"NO!" I pull at his hand, trying to restrain it from hitting the glass. He can't break it! "Please, don't!" I cry out, only to be thrown across the room, my body colliding with the wall. My only way home, my only chance to see the world I love and know. And just like that, his fist collides with the mirror, the glass shattering to the ground as I scream. Tears begin to fall as I scream at him, watching as he approaches me like a predator, his hands bloody, his eyes turning black. I'm trapped here, forever. And he couldn't be more happy.Complete

The girl, who found herself in the wrong place at the wrong time, experienced a stroke of misfortune. I hadn't even realized when his hand had grasped mine. Fear overshadowed all my senses. But after what felt like an eternity, I finally felt my wrist. He was gripping it so tightly that blood could no longer flow to my hand. As I lowered my head to look at the hand clutching my wrist, he used his other hand to grab my chin, turning my face toward his. Then, he pressed his lips to mine. I stood frozen for a moment. Then, I let myself go. For a fleeting instant, he seemed to let himself go too. And then, just like that, he was gone. In an instant, he had vanished. The hand gripping my wrist, the lips pressing against mine-gone. And I was left standing there, completely stunned. It felt as though I had forgotten my own name. I started to tremble. My legs gave out beneath me, and I collapsed to the ground. Sitting there, shaking in shock, I finally understood what he was.

"The fuck you are leaving me." His roar cracked through the hall like lightning. Ara didn't blink. She stood there, calm as death, done to her core. No tears. No tremble. Just a weary exhale as she turned her back on him - the one thing he never thought she'd do. Before she could take a step, his hand shot out, gripping her arm like he was holding on to life itself. "Where are you going, Ara!" His command shook the pack. But she wasn't his to command. Not anymore. Ara ripped her arm free with a force that made even his wolf recoil. "Don't. Touch. Me." Her aura slammed into him, cold and merciless. "You think I'll stand here and watch you mate and breed her?" she hissed, every word a dagger. His throat bobbed. "She meant nothing." She laughed - sharp, broken, brutal. "Yeah? That's why you were fucking her in your office? Couldn't even hide the scent of your betrayal." "Ara, it was a mistake-" She stepped closer, eyes blazing. "Your mistakes come in episodes, Alpha. Season one, season two, season three. You don't make mistakes. You make choices." He swallowed hard. "I don't need her. I need you." "Lies," she spat. "Every damn sentence you breathe is a lie. I can't even look at you without feeling sick." He flinched like her words physically hit him. "That female behind you?" she pointed, not bothering to glance. "Perfect for you. Go mark her. Breed her. Hell, fuck her for all I care." Her voice cracked - but she kept going, blade steady even when bleeding. "I don't need you. Not anymore." His knees crashed to the floor. The mighty Alpha. On the ground. For her. "Ara... I'm sorry. I'm really fucking sorry." His voice broke like he finally understood what loss tasted like. She stared at him with a sad, devastating smile. "Isn't it too late for that, Mate?" One tear escaped - and she crushed it away with her thumb. Then she turned. Walked. Didn't look back. But he didn't chase her. Because he knew. He didn't just lose her. He wrecked her.Complete
