Anfisa is a 16 year old girl living in the turmoil of World War 2. She moved away from her small village at the age of 8. The memories of playing with her friends in the village square and the scents of her precious tulips dance in her head.
As the pain and loss of World War 2 begins to attack her new village located in the rural woods of Russia, she has no clue as to what her purpose is.
But, even confused and lost, she keeps her head up and refuses to let the scorching glares of others get to her.
