"Why can't you love and accept me?" I said to him my voice shaky. He turns towards me and shrugged his shoulders. "You're just not my type. So stay away from me and my mate," he said as he pulled Julia into his side and continued walking. I felt tears rushing down my face from the pain and heartbreak that I'm feeling. Not knowing where else to turn and go, I run down the hall and around a few corners trying to find the nearest exit. I hear the shouts of the people around even from my best friend, but that doesn't slow me down. I came upon the front exit and bolted out the door into woods. I shift into my wolf and howl in pain. Why Moon Goddess? Is this all I'm good for is pain and rejection? Why can't something go right in my life?

"You rejected me!! Not the other way around!!" I yelled at him, tears streaming down my face. "I know." He says, he head hangs low. "And I'm sorry. I should never have rejected you." He went to take my hands into his but I turned away from him. Tears were still going down my face. How could he, after all this time, have the nerve to come here. He knew that he had hurt me. Now he is sorry and wants me back? No. "Please. Believe me. I messed up big time! I didn't know what I had until it was gone!" He said. I heard every word. They cut through the wall of my heart and placed themselves on it . It hurt. But what he did to me had hurt even more. "That's right. You screwed up. Consider me lost." I said. Then I walked away.
