The Double Cult Cha-Cha: An Al Squires of the Protectorate Story (Book 1) by ddubtyn
49 parts Complete Mature
If you met ever met Al Squires, you'd never know that this eccentric, mercurial, irreverent, snarky, arrogant, occasionally accident prone, half-crazed (self proclaimed) genius son of a witch and mad scientist was a special secret agent. One that any agency would hire, at least. But, then again, The Protectorate, the Multiversal multi-faceted organization that keeps the Balance between Order and Chaos throughout the Multiverse in check, isn't the kind of organization that you're used to. Here is the first in an exciting, philosophical, thought-provoking, mind-bending, and genre-blending series. In this story: After a successful bust in an interdimensional black market warehouse, Al accidentally releases a twentysomething young woman in a stasis pod. After being forced by his boss to take responsibility for her and protect her, he later learned that she appears to be just a Blando-Rando, a regular human being who isn't In the Know. Which, he hates, because 'Blando-Rondo babysitter' isn't one of his many (self-described) skills. But, after seeing her very dormant powers awaken as they're both being chased by two different cults- one wants to sacrifice her, and the other wants to preserve her forever- Al learns that the biggest adventures can begin unexpectedly. If you knew about Multiverse Theory, then you know that anything that CAN happen, WILL happen; if not in this universe, then in another. Well, in an Al Squires of the Protectorate story, anything CAN and WILL happen.

36 parts Complete

A young lady has been found dead in her bathtub at her apartment. At first glance anyone could rule it as an accidental suicide as a hairdryer was found in the bath. Anyone but Detective Courtney Anderson. After an odd bright card captured his attention, the detective figured a killer was at large. Two more female victims show up both dead but with no type of afflicted bruises. Carefully considered deaths. As two more calling cards appear both of equally bright colors, three pieces of the puzzle came together and the Rainbow serial killer identity was coined for the mystery murderer. With the dead bodies piling up and no apparent link between the victims, Detective Anderson feels the pressure from his superiors to bring this guy to justice. With he aid of his new partner, he seeks out a connection. Who is this mystery man? What is his motive? Can the Detectives put a stop to the murders before another body shows up? Find out in The Seven Deadly Colors Of The Rainbow.
