A soft white glow shined upon my body and i looked into the far distance and saw the "light" everyone talks about when they die. It was warm an accepting and It seemed to hold all my darkest secrets. My grandma waved at me while standing in the soft white glow. It outlined her pencil like figure and I could see her long hair blowing slowly in the wind. "Grandma," I said as I walked slowly towards her. "I'm sorry Grandma, I tried everything to be there for her." She didn't reply and just stood there waving at me, like one of those creepy Halloween decorations I was scared of when I was little while shopping for my Halloween costume. I stopped walking, I was halfway to her when nothing felt right. Everyone talks about the soft glow always being there for you at the end and always being accepting, but this time it wasn't.

IT lets go of me, my head hits the ground again, no sound echos this time. IT's mouth movies, but my ears ring, so I can't hear IT. Everything is blurry and movies too much. I can't focus on anything. IT looks at me, IT's eyes are all gray. IT smirks and stands all of the way up, towering over me. I pull myself up and wobble away from IT on unsteady feet. I look back to see IT laughing, watching me walk away. I can't hear her terrible laughter, and I don't want... to... I fall over, feeling woozy. My head spins and I sway as I try to stand. I look back again, to see that the fog has covered my path, and I can only see a couple of inches away from my face. I blow out air and fall over. * * * * 13 year old Colten, takes a shortcut through the field next to his house on his way home. But why can't he reach his destination?
