A queen is nearing the end of her 20s and has yet to marry and to make a proper heir to her throne. Instead, she has her lady consorts to play with. Her council will not leave her alone. She will not cave under pressure. A mermaid is pressured to shift into a human form and 'capture' a human man with her siren song to procreate and continue on her species. Two friends who were training to be professional merfolk become real merfolk one of them autistic. They are on the big adventure of their lives to save the world.
