Sophia, a teenager with a history of mental illness learns how to cope with herself and make the most out of it. She lives with her mother, who is a recovering alcoholic.
In this book, Sophia goes through three phases; hurting, healing, and loving. When she goes through the hurt, she ends up facing many hardships that lead to harmful behaviors. During the healing stage, Sophia learns how to cope with her problems and make the most out of her life. Lastly, when Sophia enters the loving stage, she understands how important life is to her and ends up finding someone to spend it with.
