Hecate is 17 and has completely lost faith in god, with her father sexually abusing her, and her mothers late one night stands, she feels she can't take it anymore. To top it off she feels as though she is the reason for the death f someone she really loves. 

All hope is lost....until Mr.Link comes along. What happens when she is asked to recruit into his 'gang' will she say yes? Or no? Well this 'gang' deals with death, and that is one thing that she fears the most.
