Thim is just your average half Thai, Asian-Pacific American teen girl, but she doesn't hold to labels. Explore her world as she discovers what it means to be who she is in a completely who she's not world, and the hoops she has to jump through to get where she wants to be, which has yet to be determined. And remember, it's pronounced "Tim."
Author's Note:
Hey, it's MeaganorNot, and I just wanted to say that this story was written in honor of Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month, which is the month of May. I wanted to bring some awareness to this diverse background by bringing to you this somewhat-based-on-a-true-story story. It isn't that great and it isn't completely filled with Asian-American culture, which is the whole point. Thim is discovering who she is as an Asian-Pacific American woman in a white world. So she ends up confused at times. But hopefully I can help to lead her, and you, in the right direction. Thank you for reading my story and I hope you enjoy it.
