Lance and Delilah Pemberson, along with their daughter Camry, arrive at the manor owned by Prince Berringer himself. He is the last living member of the Berringer line of royalty. He rents out his expensive castle to anyone with the money to stay there.

Lance and his family were invited, having been given an envelope from an anonymous figure. They gladly accepted, anxious to see the manor and reside in the place that Lance's cousin was staying.

But when terror strikes the property, two people are found dead, and his beloved cousin is discovered bleeding out in a hotel room.

Questioning residents and staff members, Lance and a detective named Phillip Meyers cross paths and immediately dislike each other. Phillip hasn't had many frequent experiences with murder, but he was hired for a reason.
